Chad Smith & Associates (CS&A) was founded on integrity and attention to detail. We take pride in providing every client with innovative solutions to their security and investigative needs. Chad Smith founded CS&A in 2016, and serves as company President. He is responsible for overseeing all company operations and quality assurance. Before founding CS&A, he served for over 12 years as a Special Agent with United States Secret Service. During his tenure with the Secret Service, Chad conducted criminal investigations of federal law violations and developed security plans for the protection and security of the President, Vice-President, Former Presidents, Presidential Candidates, and Foreign Heads of State.  He was the Lead Site Coordinator for the development and implementation of the security plan for the dedication of the George W. Bush Presidential Center, in Dallas, Texas, on April 25th, 2013.  

From 1994 to 2003, he served as an officer with the Dallas Police Department. During his police career, he participated in complex criminal investigations, and the subsequent arrest and prosecution of criminals for crimes ranging from simple misdemeanors to felony narcotics violations, assault, burglary, robbery, and murder.

Chad received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Baylor University in 1993 and a Masters of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University in 2004.  He is married with two children and lives in Fairview, Texas.
